A rich, nourishing, yet lightweight face oil aimed at normal skin types, perfect for everyday use. Made from a blend of borage and apricot oils, chosen for their powerful, nourishing properties alongside their lightweight, dry feeling finish. 

                              What is normal skin?

Your skin is generally well balanced, you may have a bit of an oily T-zone on your forehead, nose and chin, but overall your moisture and sebum levels are balanced and your skin is not too oily or too dry.

We’ve infused our Nourish face oil with marshmallow root to help soothe and soften skin, keeping it in its natural balance. With our unique essential oil blend that we blend in-house from Bergamot and Grapefruit oils, this sweetly citrus face oil will immediately enhance your mood, leaving you feeling refreshed.

You can choose to receive your face oil either as a ‘standard’ packaging option – with a dropper pipette which can be reused with your next bottle – or as a ‘refill’ option – with an aluminium cap which can be recycled after use. We’re all doing our bit to help reduce plastic use in our homes.

Some of the ingredients we have chosen include:

Borage Oil is a fantastic source of GLA (Gamma Linoleic Acid) which helps regenerate, firm and rejuvenate the skin's barrier function and maintain skin elasticity.  Borage oil also contains linoleic acid which helps to prevent wrinkles and premature aging, fights loss of skin elasticity and dryness. Ellagic acid supports the production of collagen, preventing its breakdown and regenerating skin cells. Ferulic acid, an antioxidant more effective than vitamin E, protects and soothes damage caused by sun and weather.

Apricot Oil has fantastic emollient, nourishing and revitalising properties. It is a lovely light oil, with high vitamin E content, providing free radical protection and antioxidant properties. It is anti-inflammatory, soothing and supports the barrier function of the skin.

Marshmallow Root is a very useful medicinal herb, it is an emollient and reduces skin inflammation.

Bergamot Essential oil is uplifting, it is an antidepressant, can help treat anxiety and relieve pain.

Grapefruit Essential oil is a wonderfully uplifting, energizing oil. It has a pleasant sweet, tangy aroma that is not overpowering.

How to use:

Apply 3-4 drops of oil to the palm of your hand, rub hands together and gently massage into clean skin on your face and neck, inhaling the aromatic scent to relax your mind and lift your mood.

Give yourself a lovely relaxing face massage by using the oil on a damp face or mix a few drops with some water in your palm to allow it to spread smoothly and lock in the extra moisture.

Add a few drops to your favourite face mask or moisturiser to give your skin an added nourishing boost.
