"Really pleased with everything! The goat’s milk and honey soap is lovely for my sensitive skin." Cate
Like all of our soaps, our Goat’s Milk, Oats & Honey soap is a ‘cold process’ soap. Cold process soaps are made using a very traditional method that has been around for thousands of years.
Goat’s Milk, Oats & Honey soap contains exactly what it says; fresh Goat’s Milk, soothing Oats and local Honey. We combine these with softening Sweet Almond oil, rich Cocoa butter and nourishing Beeswax to create a soft, creamy lather which cleans your skin while maintaining your skin’s natural balance.
We have chosen not to add a fragrance to our Goat’s Milk, Oats & Honey soap so it is suitable for the most sensitive skin types, including eczema and psoriasis sufferers. We do add a bit of cocoa powder for the sweetness and caramel colour, so the scent is sweet, buttery and oh so oaty!
Goat’s Milk, Oats & Honey soap is VEGETARIAN friendly
Minimum weight 100g bar, packaged in recyclable and compostable greaseproof paper and recycled card.
Why we have chosen some of our ingredients:
Goat’s Milk has a high fat content, making it naturally moisturising. It is rich in vitamin A, and lactic acid, aiding in skin turnover and brightening the complexion.
Oats are fantastic for dry, itchy, inflamed skin and their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties help to calm and soothe irritations. They help to give this soap a creamy lather too, and provide gentle exfoliation.
Honey has fantastic anti-microbial properties that have been utilised since the Egyptian times! Cleopatra herself supposedly used a combination of honey and milk as a face mask. Also high in anti-oxidants, honey can help to heal irritated skin conditions such as eczema, and psoriasis.
