Here at Boo Cottage Botanicals we are proud to share our ingredients with you! We create every product from scratch. The best products are those with the best ingredients. It takes Nic a long time to formulate something new. After the initial idea of what we'd like to create, it always starts with our hero ingredients!
We include all ingredients on our packaging as we feel clear labelling is paramount when you are buying skincare products. We also include this information on our product pages so you can make your informed choices before you buy from us. If you'd like to know why we have included a specific ingredients in a product, please contact us and we'll happily explain our reasons.
Below is a selection of our favourite ingredients.
Calendula (Calendula officinalis)
Well known for its calming, soothing qualities, calendula is a fabulous skincare ingredient.
We use dried calendula which we infused into oils to extract the soothing qualities. This oil also gains the sunny yellow colour from the flowers. The calendula is filtered off and this calming oil is used in our products.
Calendula is especially helpful for itchy, irritated skin such as eczema, psoriasis and rosacea.
